Walt has had a lifelong interest in art and tattooing.  After attending St Norbert College in Green Bay and pursuing a "grown-up" career as a school teacher, he decided to live his passion and devote his free time to tattooing.  Walt began his apprenticeship in April of 2015. He enjoys tiny details, color and nature tattoos. Outside of school and the shop, he enjoys spending time with his mortician wife and their two chihuahuas.

​Sheri has been tattooing for longer than she would like to admit (however I will disclose it's more than 25 years.)  She served her apprenticeship in Stockton, MN where she was taught by another female tattooer.  After returning to Milwaukee, she ran a local shop as well as one in Waterford.  During that time she also learned how to pierce from a fellow tattooer and mastered the skills she needed to go out and open Bay Street Tattoo.  Sheri and her partner opened the doors in 1999 and have been a Milwaukee staple ever since as one of the oldest shops in the city.
